Welcome to Rubil. We build the essential infrastructure for voice-first professional communication. By installing or using the Rubil Chrome Extension, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service ("The Ghostwriter")

Rubil is a productivity utility designed to format spoken thought into written professional text.

• Utility, Not Generation: We do not generate content for you. We format your words.
• Platform Adaptation: Our service modifies the structure of your text based on the detected environment (e.g., Gmail vs. Slack). You acknowledge that these formatting decisions are automated.

2. Usage & Tiers

We offer two tiers of service to accommodate different workflows:

• Free Tier: Limited to 1,000 words processed per day. Resets at midnight local time.
• Pro Tier: Unlimited processing for a subscription fee (currently $9/month).
• Fair Use: "Unlimited" is subject to standard fair use policies. We reserve the right to throttle or terminate accounts that attempt to reverse-engineer our API or automate request flooding.

3. Payment & Refunds

• Billing: The Pro Tier is billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; your access will continue until the end of your billing cycle.
• 30-Day Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with Rubil Pro, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase.

4. Data & Liability ("Passthrough Architecture")

• No Data Retention: Rubil is a "Passthrough" tool. We do not store your transcripts or audio history. If you close a tab before your text is inserted, that data is lost and cannot be recovered by us.
• Your Content: You retain full ownership of all text output. We claim no intellectual property rights over your dictated words.
• Accuracy: While we strive for "World-Class Editing," speech recognition is not infallible. You are responsible for reviewing all text before sending it. Rubil is not liable for errors, typos, or misunderstandings caused by the transcribed output.

5. Acceptable Use

Rubil is built for professional communication.

• Profanity: Our formatting engine automatically sanitizes common profanity to ensure professional output.
• Prohibited: You may not use Rubil to generate hate speech, harass others, or violate applicable laws.

The service is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of the transcription.
